supplements

Hi there. My husband and I are going away for a few days and someone is coming over to watch our cat. He takes several supplements and it can be time consuming to open the capsules and mix them with food. Is it okay if he misses them for a few days? It will be a total of 3 days that we will be gone.

He currently takes:

A pill containg COQ10 and vitamin E

A pill containting Glucosamine sulfate KCI and Astaxanthin

A pill containing L-glutamine, L.acidohphilus, licrorice root extract, folic acid, panthothenic acid and alfalfa herb

Your advice is appreciated!

Thanks,

Lisa

Unless your cat is taking the CoQ10 for a serious heart condition, or if any of these supplements are being given to treat a current acute problem, as opposed to giving the supplements as a preventative, skipping a few days should not be a problem.

thanks for your reply. The COQ10 is for a mitral valve deficiency and the rest of the supplements are for inflammatory bowel disease. maybe i should just ask the pet sitters to give the supplements!
