My Grandma has a cat that has a pink growth in the corner of its eye and we have no clue what it is or what caused it but it has been there for a while. I will include a picture so you can see what I am talking about.

What you are seeing is the cat's third eyelid, although in this picture it looks thickened. All cats have these, which become more prominent if the cat is not feeling well or if the cat is drugged. In this case there is probably something going on in this eye itself, and thus should be examined by a vetrerinarian.
