Kitten vaccinations

jules82 Jan 04, 2009 11:18 AM

I am adopting two 14 week old kittens both boys. They have been living together with their mother since birth in a loving home strictly indoors. When they come home with me they will be indoor cats only, with the occasion stroll around the back yard on leash only. I am fearful of vaccinations and i was wondering if it is necessary to vaccinate them considering the lack of exposure to any harmful diseases they will be encountering. I plan to be feeding them a raw food diet (frozen and thawed out overnight) as well as supplementing with fish oils. If vaccinations are necessary are there alternative approaches I can investigate?

You could use homeopathic nosodes for the chance occurrance that they may come in contact with other cats. See if rabies vaccinations are required for cats in your state. If your cat will not be exposed to other cats, vaccinations are unnecessary as protection. But be certain.
