I'm excited my gray banded king snake finally ate. It was about 4 weeks and I was getting worried. I know they can go pretty long without food but it still worries me. Well I tried a lot of different things like lizard scenting and washing the pinkie but what finally worked was putting the pinkie(scented) in a small brown paper bag with the snake, punching a few air holes in it and stapling it shut. I left them in there almost 24 hour and the next morning when I checked the pinkie was gone and my king had a nice sized lump in his belly. I'm glad it worked cause my next option was to do the split brain thing which doesn't sound to appealing. I just wanted to inform anybody who has a difficult feeder. By the way I did get the idea from someone here in the forum, can remember who but I thank you.
