Fragilesoul Oct 14, 2003 06:09 PM

Hes (i think hes a he so far) set up in a 30 gallon aquarium, with a soil and peatmoss base. Has 3 climbing sticks, sort of half log, a water bowl, and a leafy plant.

Misted the plant and he immediatly licked it dry :P.

Not sure how soon i should feed him (or her), and how many crickets a day. he seems full grown, but im not sure.

Ill put up a pic later when i get my camera.

Feed your anoles as much as they want to eat (which means feed them until they get full). Adults eat about 3-4 crickets a week, but sometimes more. It depends on the size of the prey you give to your lizard. Try to start feeding your pet if few days have passed since you've bought him. The larger the size of the prey, the less numbers they'll eat in a week. Be sure to gut-load the feeder insects and have them coated with vitamin supplementation before giving them out to the predator.

Yes, this is definitely the #1 caresheet of anoles so far I found in www. I never thought anyone would devote their time making such a great care site for just a small and fascinating lizard species.
