>>Well, Mommy found out today dat she is bein layed off at de end of de yeer. Dat no good atall. At leest she gets severance pay throo March or so. She mite use it as an oppurrrtunity to move back in wid her elderly mom an help her round de house, drive her places, etc. It wood save her some money on rent, which she cood use to pay down her debts. So mebbe it a blessing in disguise. De hardest part wood be movin us kits, but I tole her don't worry, we'll be okay, in de end.

Sorry to hear about this happening to your mommy, Murray. it sounds like this moving thing could be a good thing.
The economy is getting to my mommy too. She will be going from working five days a week to working three days a week beginning in the new year. The pay cut will be offset a little bit by not having to pay for day care for the Katiemonster. Daddy works Wednesday through Saturday, and has Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off. Beginning in the new year, instead of working Monday through Friday, Mommy will work Monday, Tuesday and Friday, and stay home with me and the Katiemonster on Wednesday and Thursday. Daddy's mom will watch the Katiemonster on Fridays when Mommy and Daddy are both working. Having her pay cut by 2/5 will be hard, but not having to pay for day care will compensate for half of that, so we will be able to manage.
Mommy will get more rest, and hopefully that will help her get healthier too. She thinks that it will be good for her. Of course, as far as I am concerned, anything that keeps Mommy home with me more is a good thing.
