I am furry sad to meow dat da check Mommy and I sent to da animal horsepiddal in Florida to help wiff da care ob my hubbykit, Sammy Carlini while hims mommy is in da hoomin horsepiddle, camed back to us today wiff a note dat said, "I'm sorry. The cat is deceased."
We not know what happened. We not know iffn he was "put to sweep" cuz hims care was too 'spensiff, or he was too frakshus, or what. We are furry, furry sad. Expeshully wiffout more infomashun about dis. Maybe Auntie Catnip can find out from Mommy Lenore's sisfur...
My darling Sammy neber gotted to know hims nooest dawterkit, Simi, and she neber gotted to know her daddykit.

Oh AnnieClaire....this is just terrible sad mews. We not heared anything about it until Wheesmom called our mom. It was a big shock. We so sorry you have lost your hubbykit and Simi won't get to know her daddykit.
Mom already emeowed Auntie Joyce and I will post something as soon as mom hears back from her. We are all furry furry sad over this latest blow to the Carlini family.

In Loving Memory of our precious Munchkin who earned her golden angel wings on June 8, 2009, our beautiful Maddie who arrived at The Bridge on April 9th, 2010, and our sweet girl Meadow who joined her sisters on September 24, 2010. Forever loved and very much missed by all of us!

No one is more devastated or heart-broken about this than my Mom-Joolie. She cannot believe that any veterinarian would purposely put a healthy and relatively young cat to sleep. There surely must be some reason other than financial that this has happened. Mom-Joolie sent two fairly generous payments over the past few months which should have provided some care and helped some of the boarding costs, so it just has to be some "good" reason that we are not aware of. I just feel so badly for Antee Lenore and Unca Charlie as this seems catastrophic for them.....
