Mommy see on Weffur channel dat NY haff had 21.5 inches ob snow so fur dis year. We haff had ober 60" since early November. Wiff da eggsepshun ob one small "blizzard," it haff comed in smaller incremints - 5"-6" atta time. Mommy not happy cuz she haff a hard time getting around on snow and ice, which dey don't do a furry goot job ob cleering away, expeshully downtown on da curbs and on campus in da parking lots. She furry grateful fur da cleet fingys she can put on hers boots fur eggstra trakshun from Aunty Aby. Alas, she no can stay in da house wiff us. She going to da skoolhouse efurry day to purrpare her upcoming workshops and lectures she giffing in Dooloof and in Paris.

We had (surprise!) more snow durin the nite, and all day today, prolly another 5 inches or so. It was furry slippery driving to work today, Mom sez. On the way home, she got stuck going 20 mph alla way ... furst behind a sander/plow (which was good!), then behind some goofball who not know how to drive in the winter (not good). It wasn't THAT bad drivin ...

We is warm and safe inside .. hope effurry else is too!
