I have a western ribbon snake, and in the last week, I've noticed a large buildup of brown, solidified material at his anal flap. I attemped to clean it out with a q-tip, but I wasn't able to clear it all. In the process, I didn't get musked at all, and he didn't stool to try and drive me away. I've also noticed a lack of appetite on his part. Can anyone give me any pointers, maybe tell me what's wrong? Thanks.
