Some say that someone is thick-skinned iffen they is not easily offended and bad fings just bounce off them. Well, that is Larry, but who knew he really does have thick skin!!

Me (Remi) and Larry wented to the vetdokter today to gets our blood stoled fur checkin fur hyperthighroyds (both) and kittney lebels (me). Larry went furst, and furst Dr. Joel tried to draw some blood from Larry's neck. Nope, couldn't get it in ... the needle bent! Then Dr. Joel tried again ... he say, wow Larry, you got thick skin! And the needle bented again, and wouldn't eben go in Larry's neck! Anuther try ... nope.

Finely Dr. Joel call in the head vet tek (who also happens to be his wifey). She try two times ... nope, can't get it thru Larry's neck skin! Finely they hadda do it in a legg with one of them long skinny tooby fings. Yikes!

Me, I was real good (read: scared stiff literally) and it was no purroblem to steel blood from my neck. We bofe got our claws clipped (alla Larry's gazillions and my back paws), and we'll get results back next week on how our lebels is doin and whether I got hyperT or not. Larry also startin a new medisin fur his azzma.

Wow Larry, you practicing to be like that Uri Gellar human what can bend spoons with his mind? Bending needles with your skin is a purrty awesome trick. Nicky does that skared stiff routine at the vet too just like Remi. MOL. Glows for both of you to have good tests. What new azzma medicine you got? Mom is curious and told me to ask you.

Riley, it's not new medisin, but new-to-me-medisin. The depo shots wasn't workin anymore, so we just tryin plain ol' prednisolone to see how that works. The vetdokter say that easier to adjust up and down as needed.

Larry!! I, too, takeded Predniscolone!! I haff been taking it for quite some time now. I started out taking 1/2 pill every other day and now I take 1/4 pill every day. Mom-Joolie not sure it helps me all that much but it doesn't seem to be hurting me either. I take it to try and settle my stomach because there for a while, I was throwing up every night, but now I only vomit occasionally, so I guess it working.
