Hi All Aunt Andi here...Pita is out romping about in the snow too busy to come and chat (he's having fun chasing a few chickadees).
Well Sassy lived up to her tortie-tude yesterday. She scared the living daylights out of me. Just before I left for work she disappeared. Spent all day wondering if she was okay or not. Wel got my answer when I came home. Not only was she seen she had managed to jump up onto the couch (first since her operation) and when I scritched her chin she purred. Now she was still drinking but she had not eaten so I was still worried. Well this morning she got some water and ate a little mushy food (I mixed in some tuna juice to her wet food). She seems to have taken laying in the sunbeams, so when they left the living room I picked her up to move her to my bedroom where the light was just hitting the bed. She let out a meow! first since she came home. But she purred circled a couple of times and laid down again in the sun. and that is where she is, I left her dreaming of her hubby Simba Wiscat no doubt.
Any how talked to the vet and they said it should be another 7-10 days before they know about the mass that was removed (they had to send it out of state).
so anyhow that is where we are now.
