We finawway be weady fur our update. Mommy an I wanted to let you all know our happeneens beefor it happens an not aftur. It been a tough week ob emoshuns here because of all dis. First da dood stuff:
Humoons be doing otay. Daddee wurk hard, mommee too at home. Da wittles.....Katelyn be 9 an in 3rd grade. We can'ts wemember if we'd shared but in 2009 she was diagnosed with autism. She be high functioning so she seem pwetty normal but wif wots of qwirks. Laura be 5 an in kindygarden. She spunky spunk. Get in twouble once a week at weast an been to da pwincypal 2 times dis year. But you can'ts help but luv da cwazy kit.
Me...I fine. Well except dat in cold December I twied to get a drink of twee water an sat on da side an fell in. An den my furr matted bad an da horror...I hadded to get shaved off in da winter! Dat otay....I spend lots of time cwimbing into mommee's shurts to keep warm.
Now da sad mews an why we needs GLOWS:
Cali.......Mommee iz a softy. She luvs us all wike hurs hoomin kits. (as well she shoolds) So she tooked Cali to wots ob vet docturs abouts dis ober da past couple years. But da pwoblem kepts getting worse. Cali hab a witter box pwoblem with pooh fire monsters. She won'ts go in da witter box. At furst it was next to da box. After some vet bisits with test coming back otay, da pwoblem got worse....next to da box an on top of kid beds. More vets, changes ob litter, an extra box in spaces we hab no room fur an it became anywhere she feels wike. She will eben stop in fwont ob da hoomins an go. She losing lots ob weight too. She wooks sick eben tho tests say she fine. Mommee pwobably waited too wong to make a decishun but she can'ts see Cali suffewing anymore. Cali awso frow up a lot too. Changes in foody no help. So prayfully an tearfully mommee an daddee decided it best to hewp Cali go see Sheridan at da Bwidge.
So, here day made dis tuff decishun an den Cookie start habing poor fire monsters worse dan Cali an frowing up more too. He be walkin funny too. Losing weight fast. Mommee tooked him to da vet on Monday. It no dood kits. Cookie hab a furry large tumor in his stomach. He be 16 years old at weast. Mommee an daddee not hab wots ob money an money dey coulds hab used to do exploratory surgery an den maybe wemoving tumor iz gone because dey just spend $4,000 to fix der metal monster an wif taxes due soon too, dose options just sadly aren't der. Vet said dat they coulds gib medysin to keep him from pain but he'd still have his bafroom ishyous an da other opshun is to help him to da Bwidge too. Mommy woulds luv to keep him at home. But she hab to fink of da hoomin kits to an Katelyn speshully. She handles fings diffrunt. Cookie be hur faborite kitty (eben ober me!) an mommee knows seeing him suffer in pain even minimul wif medysin woulds be too much fur hur. So pwayfully an tearfully, mommee an daddee made a decishun for Cookie too.
Dis iz our wast week wif my sibkits. It being a tuff week. Wots of tears. Cookie knows. He unnerstands. When he see mommy cwying, he come ober an get in her face, nods himz head, kisses her an purrs. Den he begs fur tweats. He sayin "it be otay, now spoil me before I go!" Cali, I not shoor. She habs been pooping less in da house but not going in litter boxy eether. She cuddling wots wif me too and letting da hoomins touch hurs more. So maybe she does know.
Katelyn handling it well so far. But last year a young friend of hers died suddenly an it hit her on da day ob da funeral. She didn'ts cwy but made a memorial page for da pawents scwapbooks. But you coulds tell she was sad though. Laura, she young. We don'ts know how she will do. Daddee...he holds himz emoshuns in. An mommee, well we are most worried abouts hur. She feels so guilty abouts it all an hab been depwessed an cwyin so much ober dis.
We are hoping we can make chats tomorrow night so my sibkits can say one last mews. But if we can'ts make it pwease keep those GLOWs an purrayers coming.
