panther colors

My sambava panther chameleon is about four months old and sometimes he will be very bright with orange bands on his tail and body with a grey green background and a white and blue stripe down the middle. Other times though he will be very dark but I do not think its because he is stressed out because he is eating and acting normally and doesn't get bothered at all. I was just wondering if his dark color will change as he matures or if he is just destined to be dark.

his colors are normal. i have a 5 month old sambava and nearly all the time he is green and red. sometimes he will color up on his sides. as they get older they will show more color.
