We are in Alamance County. Dat big storm jusst gave heavy rain & wind as it went through here, before 3PM Saturday. Little limbs snapped off and one big one fell across one lane about 1/2 mile frum us. We are fankful nothing more.

Gee, it iz a small wurrld. Da lady iz in Mebane 3x per week, furr sure. Like Wednesday, speaking of Mebane, she wuz at da Library. And she iz going later this AM...
Izn't it strange how da town boundaries are so convoluted? Da Lady haz been trying to get a map ov dis area. Really odd, how da Post office closest to us iz in Mebane, but our "name" PO iz miles away further.
And our vet, we might have thought iz umm, Saxapahaw, because we passed through there on the way to the vetplace on Hwy87, but their address is GRAHAM? Also da Avon purrson is Graham and she iz by Talbert's Gas. And isn't is strange to get PIZZA at a garage, which also haz hunting equipment, dog chain and all sorts of rural stuff?
You can tell, we are "not from around here".
Maybe we will send her out to the flea in Buckhorn, but no taunting her wiv darling babykits, she iz weak...
