This is very mysterious and amazing. I think probably this must have been a Petco where the people were all stupid or had uncorrected vision problems (although you are so beautiful I would trust a blind person to see it!).

Daisy, don'r you worry your furry little head about those stooopid humans. I got the same reaction before I got adopted and spent a few weeks at the petstore I was at. They didn't even let me share the cage with no other kits and all the other cages around me had multiples in them. It made me so mad, I attacked the kittens in all of the cages around me. They said I had toood! Of course I had toood! I am a calico!
