Do I have a male calico too?

MonaYin Sep 12, 2003 08:42 PM

I have a 9 week old kitten that is gray and white (sort of "tuxedoish" and he has one light orange spot on his lip/cheek area.
I was going to give him away, but someone suggested that
I try to sell him because male calicos are suppoed to be impossible.
Any comments or suggestions would be welcomed.

Mom has seen several black and white cats with a splash of peach coloration on their faces in recent weeks. Male calicos are somewhat rare, but not impossible. There have been several in these forums in recent weeks. Why are you giving up the kitten? Please make sure the kitten goes to a good loving home.

I have a whole litter to get rid of. There is a local pet store who may be interested in the kittens.
I had money set aside to get mom kitty spayed, then one of the dogs was stepped on by a horse, got a broken foot and there went the money. Also I have a husband and a son who does not understand KEPP THE #%@# CAT IN!!!

There are low cost spay/neuter programs all over the country.

I am including a link here. Please make sure you spay that girl ASAP. It will be better for her health and your sanity.

I know that there are lo cost programs, I had planned on getting the cat spayed, but as I stated, the money I had set aside got used for our dog that broke his foot. I am not rich, but I take care of my animals and I get them fixed as soon as I can.
