Da morning affur da pawty, Shorty goes bak to da Cafe. She uses da key she got fwum Maddie to open da door..she kwikly stwaitens up da wemains uf da partee den sits down to make a sine to put in da winnow...Cook an Waitress wanted, inkwire witin...den she hangs it in da winnow...

Den she goes to da hellofone...furst she cawlls Beau at da B&G to order cowld cuts an cheese fur samiches, den CloverBlossom Farm fur sawad fixings. Neckst Lucky at da fish market fur toona, shwimps an cwabmeat fur da salads..an Brownees bakery fur bwead,wolls an a few uf Gus's wunnerful cakes..an Nida's fur sum uf dose wunnerful pawmade cookies an muffins awong wit pikuls an wellishus...hot dishes will haff to wait till she has sum hewlp...den hur final cawl to honeydew to awange fur fwesh fwowers to be delifured daily....den she goes upstwairs to wuuk at da warge awea she pwans to make into a pwivat meeting wuum fur da calicos...

Awl hur measurments taken, da wuum dusted an swept, Shorty goes shopping..at da furniture stwore she piks awt two large sofas in a wose pattern, seferul chairs in rose an dawrk gween, a lawrge coffee taybul an sum side taybul, awso a wong tabul to go against da wall to howld a wefeshment buffet during gathurings...at da dwapurs she picks awt luffly lace curtains fur da big bay winnow..she goes to find a wug..oh yesh dis leaf pattern will be purrfekt...

bak at da cafe she sees hur gwocery owrders haff awiffed an she gets busy pweparing da salads an samichus fur lunchtime....doodness hope we get sum business....

Me finds dis cafe, which is quite bootiful so me stroll inside. I see a lot of kits and de all look da same. Iz dis a dweam or what? I look around sum more and see not one of dem dat is bwack like me, or all white, or any color.

Iz dis a purrvate club and purrhaps I should ware a costoome and look like a calicoo. Is dat otay? Do I get a prize? Pweez let me know.

Zade is out enjoying a morning stroll down the streets of town. She look in this shop and dat but she not weally in a buying mood, she is just winnow shoppink. She see a new cafe she not see before -- she go inside.

She finds the most wunnerful cumfurtabul spot wiff luffly salads and nice atmosphere. She feel real cumfurtabul her but she not really sure why -- maybe it the company she is keepink.

No matter she will be sure to return. She continue munchink on her salad and her shwimp.
