2001 WC albino garter (T. radix)

Johne Oct 14, 2003 10:38 PM

The snake is doing pretty good, and is eating decent now on F/T small adult mice. I still have the albino male and it female normal counterpart. Hopefully these two will produce offspring for me next season. They will be brumating within a few weeks.

John, that is a cool radix. Your caption said that it is wild caught. Where did you find it in the wild like that? I've always wanted to happen upon an albino but never been lucky enough yet. I live down here near Edwardsville, on the Illinois side of St. Louis. I need to reply to your southern Illinois snake photos also. Those were really good looking animals.

Sincerely,
Greg Henry
