We are the resident dictators at this house. I'm Toby, and I'm the oldest, so I get to type. I'm 9 y/o and I'm a big blue tabby longhair. I used to be a stray, but the sucker, I mean human, took me in. Hehehe, I've cost her lots of money, but I'm her favorite!! She says so. She says we're all her favorites, but I was first, so I'm most important.
Next came Rita Nikita (you can call her either, mom does all the time)- she's a sissy white longhair who usually gets clipped coz she doesn't like being combed. Momma took her in and she's pretty shy and spooky yet, even 5 years later. She's awfully pretty, and when she's feeling friendly, she's really sweet. She likes other kitties and the doggies, but runs in fear from our Daddy. She's got early renal failure, and Momma is looking into getting her a GIF tube, coz she doesn't like needles and it's WW3 to give her fluids.
Then came Calvin and Hobbes. They are brothers from the shelter. Calvin is black and white cow spotted, and Hobbes is a brown tabby. Both are shorthaired, 4 y/o, and the size of small countries. I mean, how many cats can stand on their back paws and have their front paws touch the waist of a 5'9" human? Hobbes can! And Calvin isn't much smaller. Never mind the fact that the vet says I'm a bit heavy at 17 lbs, yet told Mom that Hobbies could maybe gain a pound or two and he's 22 lbs!!
Now, Momma just 'dopted two kittens from a co-worker. They are cream tabby babies, born in mid March. Ruckus and Rampage. Boy do they have to live up to their names!!!! I like 'em, everyone else is still settling into the new order.
Momma fosters kittens thru the shelter lots, so we have another litter here. In the litter are Sherman and Panzer. Momma says if they don't have homes by Friday, they are staying. I like 'em, they are so cute and soft and snuggly - just the right size for a pillow.
We live with our doggies, a couple pet ratties (not snackies!!), two pet bunnies, and a bunch of horsies outside, plus the llama, goats and donkeys.
That's us!!
