Today was feeding day 5 out of my 7 2003 california kingsnakes ate. I also cleaned the cages today too. Well after feeding one of my snakes the female reversed desert striped I walked out of the room to begin finishing cleaning the other cages. I came back with her cage and was planning on putting her back in it.
I feed her in the deli cup she came in. She ate a large live pinky and I had not had a problem with her escaping out of her deli cup after she eats. Today she did. Somehow she managed to sqeause underneath the deli cup lid or push it up. The lid iself has a small crack on it and I did not think anything about since shes never done that before. I found her taking a tour of my room underneath my bed. I am very lucky cuz she could have crawled underneath the door and if she had done that I would probably never found her.
