Cuddles sadly changes his blue collar for a black one. It's not much of a zoo around here anymore. On Monday, Katie's remaining Guinea Pig, Linny, died. None of us can figure out why, so MommySharon thinks she just got too lonesome for Squeaker. Then, yesterday while MommySharon was at work, Tinkerbell had a stroke. MommySharon came home to find her lying on the living room floor not able to move. There was nothing a vet could do at that point, so MommySharon just laid on the floor with her and loved her until she stopped breathing. Tinkerbell may be happy and well at the Bridge, but MommySharon is a mess. I think maybe her heart stopped beating when Tinkerbell's did.

We are so sorry to heer dis more bad noos. Two companyuns dis close togetfur is wurse. It not comfort to you Mommy Sharon rite now but Tinkerbell haffing hurr dere an feeling love lightin' da way to da bwidge maked it eazier fur Tink an dat's sumpin. I know that's true. I once told Tinkerbell that the way she was always on top of MommySharon was really needy, and she told me that MommySharon was needier than she was because of how much she missed her other cats who had already gone to the Bridge, especially Patches. I've been trying to spend a little time with her, but since I'm really Katie's cat, I give my best loving to her.

Thank you, everyone, for the GLOW, PRAYERS and LOVE. Tink let me know that she was glad I was with her. I could actually see her relax and her breathing get smoother when she heard my voice and I started stroking her. That's one thing I get to keep. She wasn't the easiest cat for others to live with, but she loved me with a truly fierce devotion, and I returned that with all my heart. The house seems so empty now. I haven't sat on the couch (or anywhere else in the house) alone in fifteen years.

I know it will be difficult, but I am glad that she's not suffering.
