Franci, Oreo , Tita and all the others troop one more time to the Memorial Garden...We gonna wear out the paff ,Oreo meows. Sigh, yes here is the furst one. Cookie and Callie, side by side. They begin to plant the flowers they brought for dem , Daisis and furgetmenots, signs uf spwing. Den moof on to da tiny Wiscat foster kitten, poor baby neffur effun gotted a start. Some pretty buttercups here. Then on again, Tinkerbell, sighhhhhhh, rose of sharon here...an fur da little guine pig next to its companion, more carrots an lettuce...sighhhhhhhhhhh, soooooooooo many...they walk the paffs amd straiten as many of the other memorials as they can...then finally head for home...

Tarrigo, Caspian, Narcissa, Nikita and the kits follow along behind with the wheelbarrow of compost to put on the newly planted flowers.

Finally da Wiscats got a few minitts to go to da meowmorial garden. Dey take pots of wild rose - tiny pink fur tiny Taffy Wisfoster - and petoonia - pure white fur Tinkerbell. Following Franci's idea, dey plant butter lettuce fur da ginny piggy as well. Dey hold paws and bow deir heads fur a moment ob silence in honor ob deir frends and send out GLOW to Aunty Sharon.

Cuddles takes his first ever walk through the Memorial Garden. He tells Tinkerbell that he will do his best to comfort MommySharon, but that she is desperately missed. He looks at the graves of Squeaker and Linny, and also of Whiskers, Minx, Boo, Misty, and Patches wishing he had gotten to know them. He realizes that he has a long legacy of great Zoo Crew Cats to continue, and that each has left huge pawprints in the hearts of his humans and promises them that he will do his best to live up to the loving legacy they've left for him.

He looks at all the beauty in the garden, and thanks his friends who have taken such good care of the garden. He is a newcomer to this village and looks forward to getting to know all of his new friends.

The Catnip Kits walk along the path through the gardens and each one places a yellow rose of friendship at the memorial of their friend Tinkerbell. They wipe away a tear and continue down the path stopping at each memorial and bowing their heads in a moment of silent remembrance. Too many of their friends now reside here...........
