GrandmaSharon and Katie went out today carrying the cat carrier with them. They said they were going to a place called Blue Chip Animal Refuge to see of one of the cats there wants to adopt GrandmaSharon. They've gone out with the carrier before, but came home with it still empty, so I didn't take it all that seriously. But this time there was a cat in the carrier when they brought it in the house! GrandmaSharon says the new cat's name is BamBam. She's a small black girlkit with white mittens, a white spot on her throat and very white whiskers. She is blind in her left eye from an infection that wasn't treated in time to save her vision. Personally, I think maybe Tinkerbell the she-devil sent her, because as soon as she met GrandmaSharon, she climbed right up on her shoulder where Tinkerbell used to live and started purring her head off. She wouldn't let any of the other cats there get too close either. GrandmaSharon says she is going to stay in the bathroom for a little while, but she hopes that we will be friends. I hope so too. I would like to have someone to play with. Even if BamBam doesn't want to play with me, though, I will have all the babykits at my new job to play with. Life is good!

Bam-Bam is a cutie! She has the same coloring as Quentin, although Quentin has more white on him. We wouldn't be surprised if Tinkerbell had sent her.

I asked GrandmaSharon if she thought Tinkerbell sent her, and she laughed so hard she almost fell down. She thinks it would be totally out of character for Tinkerbell to send somebody to cuddle with her, since Tinkerbell spent most of her time trying to keep everybody else away from her. I think she might have, though, because she loved GrandmaSharon so fiercely that it would hurt her heart to see how GrandmaSharon cries forher.

Awwww....a tuxie girl! She's furry cute. She also carries the name of our Bridge-cuzzinkit. We're glad BamBam picked mommy Sharon and we bet before too long, you and BamBam gonna be best friends too.

Well, GrandmaSharon clipped her claws, and now she's out of the bathroom. We've looked each other in the eye, and even though she didn't growl or hiss at me, I got a bit nervous and ran. In the place where I was before I came here, there were 14 other cats and they all picked on me. Then when I came here, Tinkerbell she-devil used to beat me up every time I even looked at GrandmaSharon, so other cats are a bit scary for me. I have lots of fun playing with babykits, though. We noticed that BamBam is a bit scared of the shadows from the ceiling fans. It might be because with only one eye she doesn't have much depth perception. She will soon learn that they won't hurt her. Hopefully, she won't hurt me!

Hi, I'm BamBam. Thank you for the nice welcome. I think I am going to like it here. I already love my new Mommy. She just clipped my claws, and now my paws don't hurt so much. She got pretty mad, though, when she saw that some of my claws were so long that they got ingrown into my toe pads. She thinks that the people who were taking care of me before should have not let that happen.
