Cuddles wakes up, headbonks Katie and her daddy, and tiptoes carefully around the couch where GrandmaSharon and BamBam are sleeping. He goes into the kitchen, pulls out Tinkerbell's recipe book, and starts making snacks to bring to the playroom. First the tuna treats, then catnip muffins and chiggun (learned that new word from my good friend Sammy) poppers. He packs the snacks carefully so that they stay nice and fresh. Then adds the cartons of mook and some catnip punch. He takes the heavy backpack and heads off to the playroom.

He unlocks the door and puts away the snacks for later. Then he sits down to plan the day while he waits for the babykits to arrive. Let's see...it's bright and sunny...the perfect day for an adventure! I think I will take the babykits outside to go on a bug hunt. Then we can come in and have our snacks and a short nap. After that, we'll get out the toys and play on the jungle gym. He bounces around the room in anticipation...it's going to be a great day!

Cuddles gives the babykits their second breakfasts. While they eat, he tells them that he will be leading them on a bug hunt outside in the yard. We are going to see how many different kinds of bugs we can find and catch. While we do that, we'll pretend we are mighty lions hunting in the wild. It will be tons of fun! When we find our bugs, we will stalk them and sneak up on them to catch them so that we practice our hunting skills. Would you like that? Then we'll come in for another snack. Ready? Let's go!

The babykits bounce after Cuddles, pouncing on his tail and tumbling between his pawkies awl the way out to the yard. Suddenly a large dragonfly flits into the yard and the little ones LEAP for it. It comes down in a tangle of wings and babykits.

Cuddles giggles as he plays leapfrog over the tumbling babykits. His eyes open wide as he sees the babykits bravely take down that big old dragonfly. Great job, Babykits! He's a good one. He catches the dragonfly in a jar. As he closes the jar, a butterfly flits by, babykits in hot pursuit. WooHoo, let's get him, babykits!

The butterfly stops to lay an egg on a milkweed. The babykits skid to a stop to watch.
"Cuddles, what's da fwutteryby doing?" they yell.
