HI all,

I know this is the Meeting Hall forum, but I cannot find the main cat discussion page. Since I know lots of you post here, so I thought I would try to find you here.

Rame and Luna got into a big fight. Biggest ever. I am going to give Luna some Rescue Remedy and am getting Feliway diffuser in a few days. The dosage instructions for Rescue Remedy are not anything I am comfortable with. Some nonsense about 4 drops no matter what kind of animal or what size. THAT is ridiculous. How many drops (I have the non-alcoholic drops) do you give your cats? Luna is about 11 lbs and Rame is about 14 pounds.

We dunno. Mommy giffs us PetCalm iffn we's getting too irritable. That has no alcohol and it works better on us.

When Medley first came to live here, Mom bought Feliway and plugged it in a week or so before leaving on a trip. She's not sure if it worked or if we just got used to each other but there weren't any fights, at least according to the housesitter.

Oh dear...Luna and Rame, you should not fight with each other! It upsets the humans and you know how easily they get upset if they think we are getting hurt. Mom uses Rescue Remedy on us. She puts the 4 drops in our water bowl. She rubs it on Nicky's ear cuz she never sees him drinking. Then she puts a drop or two in our food. Guess it works because we've been pretty nice to each other. Why don't you start off with just a drop or two and see if it has any effect.

Thanks, I am going to try the water for both and the food for Luna. Rame eats only dry foods; he is a very fussy eater. Luna will eat anything with salt, oil, cheese or meat in it.

That why mommy puts the remedy on Nicky's ear. He won't eat nothing but dry foodies either. Not even human foodies! He a weird kitty. MOL.
