He carved a whee an a grey an white tuxie kit an glued it to the placque. He carved a meowssage on it to Sammywhee: "Sammywhee...go softly into that good-nite!" I lufs you! One day he will see hiss brofurSammywhee again.

All the Noblekits go to the meowmorial garden to plant sum Forget-me-nots at the base ob Sammywhee's meowmorial plaque.

Now we iz crying all over again. But the Catnip kits pull themselves together enough to find Sammy's memorial and place their yellow roses of friendship there. The babykits take their milkweed plant with its baby flutteryby and put it by Unka Sammywhee's memorial spot.

Pepper digs a little hole and puts in Daddee Ralphie's wallet and covers it over with dirt. Pepper think that Sammy would appreciate having this memento that beed around like, forever and ever and next to the Miss Tiffany Lamp, it holds a whole lot of good memories. Dery find DA spot and Henri, Andre and Simba bring da flowering Rose tree furward. Henri and Simba dig a hole and togeffur da 3 menkits puts da tree in it. Den da Wiscats each write a sentimint onna peece ob rice paper and toss dems into da hole. Dose remane sekret in da hart ob each Wiscat and in Sammy's hart. Den dey each take a shobel full ob dirt and fill in da hole. Da menkit finish and den water da tree. It haff bootiful yellow roses on it, da rose ob remembrance ob a frend.

The babykits stand around watching the big cats bring their memory gifts to the Garden and talk about the Bridge.
"I dunno," said Hedy. "I don't fink Unka Sammywhee is on a bwidge or in a firecwakker. I fink him is in God's pouch, getting a dood nap cause hims hoomins was always waking him up and him was tired. Day was worried and caring for him, but now God's got him snuggled for a nap."
"I agwee," yawned Maxwell and Edison, and the kits padded off in search of supper.

Cuddles and BamBam bring some yellow roses and some lavender to Sammy's meowmorial. They bow their heads and wipe some tears. Sammy, you spread love to every kit in the village all the time and helped us feel at home when we got here. You helped us feel like even though the original ZooCrewKits were all gone, we belong, and we are going to miss you terribly. We will always carry the memory of your love in our hearts.
