Mom found a lump on me tonight.........

PHCatnip Jul 12, 2011 11:28 PM

.....and she's already freaking out. But I guess you can't blame her after losing Munchie from a lump. When she was petting me tonight, she felt it on my side. It's not really at an injection site, so it prolly nothing more than a silly ole fatty cyst. But you know how hu-moms can be about lumps. She said I hafta go to the vet tomorrow to get it checked. Phooey...I don't wanna go to the vet!

Sending lots of glow that the lumpy is only a fatty kind, Riley! {{ }} We know moms freek out a lot on stuff like that, so a little anti-freek out glow to aunty Dottie too. Eben iffen it another kind, we send more glow it easily treatable. Remember, Kaeli had a mast cell toomer a few years ago, and she fine now! But Riley's will only be a nuffin-cyst, we know it! {{}}

As if a trip to the vet wasn't bad enough...now I am missing a patch of fur. The vegetarian shaved a square of fur off me and then he stuck a needle down into that lumpy. Ouch! He told mom that we may not get back definite diagnosis cuz it still a really small lumpy. He also told mom that it bled a little and usually tumors what not so good do that. Mom is keeping furry pawsitiff thoughts about this....at least she thinks she is....
Me, I just want some more catnip to drown my troubles.

BamBam and Cuddles send their best GLOW to their friend Riley, and prayers that the lump is nothing serious and easily treatable. They also send gentle headbonks and pawpats to MommyDottie.
