Dimmer?

I'd like to put my lights on a dimmer so they come on slowly and go off slowly. Can someone tell how to do this in a simple way? I am not too good with electronic stuff.

Dimmers are only good for incadescent bulbs.

Try using seperate ballasts on seperate timers, it's about as close as you can get.
