Larry and the two Ps inna pod (foster kittens Penny and Polly) all wented to the vetdokter today. Larry gotted his stitches outta the area furmerly known as 'eyeboll' and is doin furry well. Grate in fact!
All healed, and Dr. Joel sed don't worry bout the skratch on his cheek, it look fine, just let it be. Larry gettin all ober the house now, up and downstairs, and
goin effurrywhere he always did, with less bumpin into fings effurry day.
Penny and Polly, who is about 3 months old, got checkups, and Polly gotted a FeLV/FIV test. They just check one kitten of a litter cuz they woulda got it from their momkit; Polly is negatiff. Penny is doin fine, and purrfekly healthy, and ways 3.4 pounds ... just rite fur her age. She can go to a new home any time.
Polly is not doin so well. While it a slite pawsibility that she not of the same litter, bein as she looks identical (but smaller) than 3 other kittens in the litter, and was found in the spot where they was all borned ... it more likely that mamakit Zuzi abandoned Polly at some point.
Polly ways only 1.4 pounds ... less than half what she should at 3 months, is furry furry thin, has no mussles, and Dr. Joel say he can feel effurryfing inside her, incloodin thickened intestines. Her mouf look somewhat pale. Dr. Joel say malnutrishun could cause this, along with digestiff disorders, so we are waitin on doin further testin until we see iffen we can fatten her up and get Polly healthier. He say he worries about her survival. So she get hi purroteen food, and keep an eye on the LB fur iffen she able to digest food okey fur now and see how it goes.
::Larry starts makin up a braille map, on accounta he finks mebbe a ribberboat trip mite be in the works soon ...::
