incubating eggs

randi Oct 15, 2003 07:43 AM

My male beardie, Lance, is constantly on Lola's head. He just won't leave her alone. I think she might be gravid since she is really fat. Does she need a special nesting box? At what temperature do the eggs have to be incubated at? How long does it take for them to hatch?

Thanks,
Randi

#1. Your beardies need their own enclosures. Breeding pairs are normally only kept together to breed and then separated for this exact reason. Your female needs to be in top condition, which is pretty hard to do with a male after her constantly, stressing her out.
