New BRB and humidity?

earthpig23 Oct 15, 2003 07:43 AM

I recently bought me a BRB I am not a newbie when it comes to herps but i am with the BRB. The breeder that i bought it from (at the NARBC shoe in tinley park)siad i can keep it in cypress mulch in my swater box and that should keep it at a good enough and that if room temp and box stay at a comfortable 75-85 degrees that another heat source is not really needed. i have a heating pad available if needed. I would just like some thoughts. I figure it was good advice since that was what the breeder did and she seems to keep and breed them nicely that way.
