I would like to request some GLOW for my MommySharon. Her big toe got furry puffy and red, and hurted so bad it was making her cry (and having two babies with no epidural and no pain meds couldn't even do that). The pain kept her up all night, so she wented to the humanvet today. The humanvet said she gots something called gout and it hurts a lot. Please GLOW that the medicine work quickly and get da swelling down (she can't even get a shoe or sandal on) and make the pain go away.

Thanks, everybody. MommySharon is doing better and the medicine is helping. She overdid it a bit yesterday because it was Katie's birthday and MommySharon just refuses to break a promise no matter what. So she hobbled out and took Katie to Toys R Us to pick out presents, then to a special birthday dinner at Katie's favorite diner where all the waitresses there surprised Katie by singing to her and giving her some cake with whipped cream and a candle. After that, they went to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees game, and stayed for the fireworks at the end. By the end of the night, Mommy was a bit of a mess but Katie had a really good day. Today she took her Mommy to the airport so she could go home to Arizona. Once she got home, she has spent the rest of the day on the couch with her foot up and plans to spend tomorrow the same way. We're hoping that resting the foot will get the swelling down. She has to go back to the humanvet on Monday.
