is a 10 gal. aquarium large enough for my hatchling? when do i neede to get a larger one?

A ten gal should be fine for a while. Just upgrade to a 20 or 25 long whenever you get the chance, and Tech should be set for life. No hurry, at this age, but I find that providing for the adult size ahead of time makes it easier to avoid rushing around at the last minute.

I agree you should make plans to get a larger cage in the future (20 gallon long or larger), but your hatchling will do fine in the 10 gallon.

I still have my 2002 snakes in 10 gallon tanks. They are all around 2 feet long.
