Mommy understands exactly what you mean, especially now that it's almost time to put up Patches' tree again. Mommy says we're gonna have a tree in our living room, and it's gonna have dangly things on it. Cuddles plans to climb it, and I plan to play with the dangly things. Mommy's face gets all wet whenever she thinks about it, because Patches really loved that tree. Last year she couldn't even help Daddy and Katie decorate it and cried every time she looked at it. The only decoration she put on it was a picture of Patches and Boo. She says holidays are furry hard because she has so many memories of celebrating them with the cats she had before we came. We'll help her make new ones though.
