Today was da "For da Luff ob Pets" 2nd annyooal ebent at da Subaru deelership. It was DEIR idea cuz da hed guy luffs animals. Ennyways, 6 shelters plus sum venders ob pet produks and so forf were dere in dis humungus bilding dat Subaru has on deir purrpurrty. Subaru eben had a room fur da shelter peeples wiff free hot gogs, chips and pop!
Mommy tooked 6 ob our kittens. (Frappe not played spades yet so she hadda stay home.) And gess what??? ALL SIX OB OUR KITTENS WAS 'DOPTED!!! Thunder, Lightening, Cloudy, Stormy, Espresso, and eben sissy Java was luffed by goot famblies and tooked to deir fureber homes!
Erly on (it ran from 10 to 6) a cupple was innerested in Thunder (da SOBOL), but da man no knew how to hold him. Da lady was goot wiff him tho. Den dey started talking about how da cats dey haff all liff outside, but can cum into da breezway 'tween da house and garage. Mommy asked iffn dey liffed in town near bizzy streets. Nope, dey liff in da cuntry. Mommy asked about iffn dey had coyotees around. Da man said, "oh sure. Once we had 17 cats and dey all diskappered," and he kinda grinned. Mommy gently took Thunder outta da lady's arms, put him back in da pen, and den stood in front ob da pen wiff her arms crost. Da lady, said to da man, "she no want us to haff him," and dey lefted. heehee
And gess what else??? Licorice, who been waiting at da shelter alla dis time, was 'dopted, too! Mommy a goot sales purrson. Fancy was not 'dopted, but a fambly wiff skreechy kids wanted to 'dopt her, but Mommy kinda hemmed and hawed, and da man camed to bisit Fancy and she hissed at him (GOOD GIRL!) and so dey lefted. Fancy camed home wiff us and she and wi'l Frappe are in da foster room togeffur. Fancy hissing, but she will get ober it. Now Frappe won't be lonesum.
8 offur ARF cats was 'dopted plus a Cherman Shepperd goggie. Every was 'dopting animals out like crazy. What a day! Mommy furry pooped, but furry happy!!
