Deer MCV furrends

Yeah, I think it iz Time furr something else. Now, purrsonally, I don't care furr hoomin food, just demand a taste on rare occasions. But I can tell dat da Lady iz tired of turkey hurrownself, and making da soup and picking off da meat clinging to da carcass haz finished it furr hurr.

So, how about Youkits? Did it seem like dere wuz maybe too much of a good fing? (And dat doesn't even count da desserts and goodies.)

Well, maybe you had somfin else, instead of da burrd? How wuz dat? Did you get enuff?

Unka John, WHAT did YOU hav fur dinner dat day? Did you go out to eat? Wish you could hav been wiv us..

Wuv, Topaze frum da Sunny Souf

It haz taken years & years to come to dis - dat da Lady iz a wittle weary of turkket. Always before she wuvved it to the last drop. But somehow, today, picking da bones furr da soup, hurr got fed-up. And it makes hurr hands, umm, fragrant...

She ate at da Dtrkit's house, but da Lady did a couple of side dishes. Thought she would do pumpkin pies, but dey were not requested, maybe because Dtr fixed Pumpkin cheescake wiv Praline topping. SO good and very pumpkin flavored.

Dis iz how da Lady loved Turkit. Years ago, when #1sonkit had da duty at wurrk, of distributing turkeys, employee perk, some of da workers refused because dey had no plans involving cooking a big meal. So dey asked him to just take it, whatever. So it ended wiv 5, yes, FIVE turkeys coming home. So dey ate turkey furr TDay and every Sunday in December. Ham furr Christmas day dinner.

Imagine doing turkey every Sunday. But she wuvved doing it and having big famwee meals. Da man now at da Bridge was alive den and #2sonkit at home, wiv #1sonkit. Da #1dtr lived in back wiv hurr famwee, inc. 3 kids & deir daddy. Old times, not furrgotten... Maybe 1986, a wong time ago...

Anyhow, hope efurrykit got his/hurr hart's content.

Now, I don't care about turkey myownself. So I passed on a few scraps, NO Bones, to da Rotties nextdoor. Deir cat Vito, a nice tuxie, got some over dere too.

Hey Topaz,
Heer wat I had at a big pardee my fwend took me to:
Started off wiff buffalo chiggin wings and spinach dip.
Next sampled a turducken ( a chiggun stuffed inside a duck stuffed inside a turkey and it had layers ob stuffink between eech one)
By den more guests had arribed bringing side dishes wiff dems. So, I had smashed taters, homemade cranpurry sawse, gween bean casserole, regular roast turkey, sum ham, turkey stuffing, and sweet taters. Dere was ofur stuff dere dat I twied, but I can't remempurr. Later I had haff a slice ob punkin pie and den even later I continued to pick at da turkey and ham, but was sooooo full dat I could hardly eet annufer fing! But yu know how dat turkey call to yu. MOL
So, dat was my Fanksgiffing dindin.

Topaz, we din't have too many leftovers. The humans here are gluttons on turkey bird day. But we had some for that day and the next and then that was it. Mom made some cranberry walnut turkey salad the next day and gave me a taste. I ate the turkey but not the crannaberries and walnuts.

We are delighted to read dat Unka John got a "real" dinner furr TDay. Always so much better wiv furrends.

Da Lady iz plowing fru da turkey soup, which she admits iz a longtime favurrite ov hurrs. And last night, da Dtr next door had hurr over to clean up leftovers from da Feast. Oh, dat stuffing... And one more pineaplle upside down muffin, yes, made in cupcake pans, instead of a cake pan. Easier to handle.

So az we are all fankfull fur our many blessings, we can get on wiv Life, esp our caring and sharing wiv MCV furrends.

We are grateful furr da Fellowship we hav wiv all here.
