Five years ago, Mommy's good friend, Nancy, went to the human Bridge. She had several cats and also took care of a feral colony. There was one cat that was furry close to her heart. That kitty's name was Ebony, and she didn't get along with other cats at all, so she had to be kept apart from them. When Nancy died, a friend of Mommy's took Nancy's cats. She and Mommy were working together to try to find them forever homes. The one they just couldn't seem to find a home for was Ebony, because everybody they knew who wanted a cat already had one and Ebony couldn't be with other cats because she would viciously attack them. She was very friendly with humans, and wanted lots of attention from them, but she turned into a worse she-devil than Tinkerbell on a rampage if any other animal came near her. She was confined to a bedroom in Mommy's friend's house by herownself for four years. Mommy's friend tried to give her as much attention as she could, but she works full time and has several cats of her own along with five Irish Setter dogs, so she didn't have a lot of time to spend in a bedroom with Ebony. Ebony was very lonely and depressed and Mommy's and her friend's hearts were broken for her.
Well, a new lady started coming to the church and she and Mommy got to be friends. This lady was lonely too, and Mommy took her to meet Ebony. They liked each other, and today Mommy delivered Ebony to her new Mommy and her forever home. Mommy and her friends are very happy that they have now found homes for all of the cats their friend Nancy loved, and we know that Nancy is smiling from the Bridge too.
