It is with great sadness that I tell you that Pepper has safely passed over The Rainbow Bridge today. He purred at the very end and was at peace with everything as much as I was. He had had a pretty rough last two or three days and it was just the right thing to do at the very right time.

According to the vet's records he was 13 1/2 years old. I thought he was 14 years old but I was wrong. Nevertheless, he lived a good, long, happy life and loved each and every one of you.

Oh Julie. I am just sick about this. Bless your heart. You and Bernie were such great parents to dear Pepper. Pepper was iconic in Meowchat Village, and so very loved and missed by so many. I am so very sorry for your loss -- and it is a great loss, too. We are sending non-stop GLOW to you to heal you hearts. Dere jus not enuf wurds to eggspress how sad we is to hear dis noos. We knows it was eggspected but still... We was finkink ob da many many "pepperisms" and how much we shall miss hims. But da shape and humor ob dis village was founded upon Pepper and fwends. We will fureber miss him, Flea Bailey, Miss BoomBoom, Da Gypsy Fortune Teller, and the episodes wiff da neuticles.

oh Julie, I am so saddened to hear that your fine little dood has passed on. Please accept the glow that Pita and Sassy send to you and my own condolences. It seems like yesterday that both he and Pita were on a road adventure together in the ragtop convertible.
of late we seem to be losing many Meowchat cats, a nature of both they and us growing older. Ralph, Munchie, and the others. I do know that on the other end of the Bridge Pepper will find friends there, perhaps even a new bride. Still we know you will misss him as will we all. Were I right there I would gladly give my shoulder to cry on, even now hearing of friends passing I want to cry. I am not though but I send you my hugs in comfort for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I saw Pepper's marriage proposal to Sparkle below and answered -- I hadn't read this far up yet. My heart goes out to you at the sadness you are feeling right now. Pepper was a beautiful and very loved cat. I can tell he was VERY loved on these boards.
