I've read the basic differences between the two, but haven't been able to find a side-by-side comparison: Which, in the opinions of all of you experienced keepers out there, is the most docile (perhaps even friendly, with enough handling?) of the P. Curtus species? Which is heftier -- I know the Sumatrans grow longer, but it looked to me from the pictures I've seen that the Borneos are heavier-bodied -- was that just a conincidence?
I'm planning on purchasing a CB baby some time in the next year or so and am trying to find out ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING I can beforehand... Finding this forum was a huge help, so a general thanks is extended to all you experienced keepers who are so willing to offer your help to all of us novices!!
But yes, any information regarding the differences between Borneos and Sumatrans would be appreciated... Also: is there a marked temperment difference between males and females? I prefer male snakes, but I'd much rather have one that is as docile as possible...
Thanks again,
A. Fox

), and it might help to answer a couple of your questions. I don't know if you are refering to the Sumatran Red Bloods, or the Sumatran short-tail of which the latter is known for not only being the smallest of the former group or Curtus complex, but also, known for its placid demeanor.
