the guy at the captive breed reptiles place is giveing me a great deal on the CWDs there is a captive breed super tame male 5 year old CWD hes selling for 100$ and a female very tame 4 year olf captive breed CWD for 75$. hes giving me both for 125$ cuz i go there alot and bring alot of customers to his store. the problem is. i have to buy it before november. im getting a 500 gallon custom cage for them made for CWD. but i cant get it till november. meaning these water dragons will have to spend like 5 days in a 55 gallon breeder. they will be ok wont they. if its jsut for 5 days? ill keep them in my bath tub alot of the day if i have to.

I don't know... if your temperatures in your house are warm enough, and their tame enough. Id make your room dragon safe, or a room, and let them live in there, free roaming, with a water area of course. Feed them normally, and since it will probably be drier, just spray them down a couple times each day. I'd be worried about snout rub in a 55 gallon, cause theyd be huge for that.

but being in a little cage for 5 days isnt gonna stress em out really bad, like near death bad is it. like when i had my oscars (its a fish) my cage cracked and i had to put them in a 10 gollon for 3 days and they died. my guess ws because of the change and the small room.

They can do a lot of snout damage in 5 days, not to mention that they may attack each other because they can't get away from each other.

I agree, its best to have them setup right from the start. Its usually the first few days that a new animal decides if life here is worth living and should they decide that it is not, it can be difficult or even impossible to change their minds. Also, I don't think that those prices are a very good deal, sounds like he's sticking it to ya, to me. I mean, you can get a baby for about 20 dollars, and not have all the adjustment problems that the adults have when they are moved around.

I agree about the snout rubbing, they can do a lot of damage. The room thing would probably be best. Or even like in the bathroom. With a ramp and stuff to go into the bathtub. Plus it wouldnt be so bad if they got some stuff wet. Or just get some babies. I got mine for 15 dollars..good luck with everything.
