We got an update on our Grandma who has cancer. To recap, the humanvet found a malignant tumor on Grandma's kitney. They did more tests and found that there were spots on both of her lungs. Well, since then, they did a PET scan at the hospital (don't know why she hadda go there, I coulda done it for free), and the PET scan came back NEGATIVE for cancer in her lungs!! The humanvet says to not get too excited, cuz it could be a false negative and they got to confirm it in six months, but that means that the spots in Grandma's lungs might not be cancer. ::BamBam, Cuddles and Mommy do another happy dance::
The tumor in Grandma's kitney is definitely cancer. She also gots diabetes that hurt her kitneys, so removing it would be a bad idea. She only gots 50% kitney function with the whole thing there, and since the tumor is in the middle of the kitney, to remove it surgically they would have to take off more than half of it. But! They gots another idea. There is another procedure they can do to freeze the tumor and make it dissolve away. They gonna do that on February 7th, so Grandma's cancer might be all gone by the time she gets to go visit Grandma at the furry end of February.
Thanks so much for alla the GLOW and PRAYERS for Grandma and Mommy. They workin! Me and Cuddles didn't know too much about this GLOW stuff when we gotted here, but that's some powerful stuff!
Now for the bad news. Mommy and Katie are LEAVING us for a whole WEEK!!!!!! It's not until February 27th, but I not happy about it, and I am gonna try to keep my clawsies in Mommy and not let her go without me. I don't like it when she not home, even when it just to go to work. God gived her to me, and I KEEPING HER!
