After Mommy moved all de way fwom Aridzona to Wiscatsin wid me an Yuki back last summer, all wuz well.... Gramma's old cwanky cat Simba did not bother us when we wuz confined to Mommy's upstairs room, an we wuz purrrfectly content to remain in Mommy's room. So all wuz peece an harmony.

But lately, dese last cupple weeks, I finally got cabin feever an decided to start 'scaping on a regular basis durin de nite whenever Mommy left da room to use de litter box, or get some food, or whatever.... I been a reel brat, an makin Mommy mad, makin her chase me up an down stairs when she half 'sleep. An Simba, Gramma's old cwanky kit, is furry scared of me cuz I much bigger an imposing lookin (tho I haven't thweatened him or nuttin). So Simba hisses an gwowls at me. One nite, I got so mad at Mommy fur not lettin me out o de room to roam, I jumped up on de bed twice an attacked her legs wid my claws, which reely hurt her. I used to gwab her legs all de time before she got Yuki, cuz I got angwy wid her fur workin full time an leevin me lonely, but since Yuki joined us I had nebber scwatched her again cuz I was happier an less lonely.

Well, after dat, Gwamma an Mommy hatched up a plan to let me start roamin a bit durin de day when Simba was confined to a bedwoom, so mebbe I wood get de wanderin' outta my system. Dat has mebbe helped a bit, but I still 'scape efurry now an den. A cupple days ago, Mommy got one of dose plug=in Feliway type thingies dat emits a soothin scent, an de first nite, I didn't twy to 'scape at all. But last nite I was good till 9 am, den I suddenly shot outta de room like a rockett.... so I still not totally over my wanderlust, tho I have impwoved gweatly.

Gwamma is opposed to exposing Yuki an me to Simba on purpose cuz Simba such a fraidy cat, an he so old an ornery.... an she furry protective of him an doesn't want him skeered. So, mebbe what Mommy an Gwamma is doin now is de best dat can be hoped fur at de moment....

Meenwhile, Yuki is purrrfectly content to stay in Mommy's room ('cept fur one time he 'scaped just to twy to meet Simba out of curiosity, an he approached Simba slowly in a fwiendly manner but Simba hissed at him so Mommy took Yuki back upstairs again, an Yuki doesn't even wanna leeve de room no more. Mommy wishes I wuz so good....

MOL, that's just what I was gonna say! That's what Mommy does with me when I get rambunctious. She gets out the fishing pole toy or the laser pointer and wears me out until I am ready to take a nap.
