Hey Kits,
Sassy's momma here, Andi.
My little girl is in the ER vets right now. When I got home she seemed to be having some problems. Doddering a bit, glassy eyed, and more lethargic. Scooping her up I took her to the ERs since her regular vet was not in. Her glucose level was over 500!!! and she had a build up of key-tones (?) and her red blood count was low, and she was dehydrated. It was like she didn't want to move or anything.
they have her hooked up to an IV drip slow induced insulin and sub q fluids. When I left they had her in the warming incubator. She was beginning to meow a bit as I left.
I am sure though that any glow you could spare would be appreciated

Today was tough.
Sassy is still at the vets. She is drinking water, and tinkling but not a lot. They have put her on a new type of insulin, but she is not really responding well. The vet there said it is still early to tell though. She is warm and comfortable for now. I may have to make a very tough decision tomorrow.
I love Sassy so much I don't want to lose her, but I don't want her to suffer, she is not in any pain though. right now I am a wreck emotionally.

Ok, we let mom talk for a minnit....

{{{{Andi}}}}, the kits and I are sending out enormous amounts of Glow for poor Sassy. But as bad as it seems right now, I have high hopes that she can pull through this crisis. Meadow once had a BG level of 650, so don't give up! The IV meds should help slowly brings back to more normal levels. Please keep us posted as you can.
