I just wanted you all to know that today I went back to the emergency vets. They called yesterday and said they had Sassy's ashes. I went and picked her up they had placed her ashes in a beautiful tin container that had beautiful blue and purple pansies on it. I think she would have liked that, it would remind her and me of the pansies I have on the one pot on my deck. She liked that one she liked to sit in it just before I'd plant anything and often would smell them. Now when I catch the scent of pansies I will always remember her. They gave me another gift too. it was a clay disc. They put Sassys name on it and it had her paw print in it. I put both in a side curio along with her collar. I placed it there so she could look out over the living room and out the glass door that goes outside and where the plants are. I think she'd like that.
it was a happy sad day. But I am happy she is home and still in my heart.
