We're sorry to be asking for GLOW again, but Mommy really needs it. First of all, she's got a gimpy foot. On Wednesday her friend thought that her cat got out of the building and she needed help to catch it, so Mommy went to help. While she was climbing some muddy rocks to catch what turned out to be the wrong cat (the one they were looking for was accidentally locked in a bedroom she wasn't supposed to get into) she slipped and twisted her foot and ankle. She had to go to the ER for x-rays. It turned out to be a bad sprain, and she came home with a funny looking shoe and loopy pills. The big reason we need GLOW, though, is that when the doctors were looking at the x-rays they found a lesion in her ankle bone that wasn't from the sprain. They have to do a bone scan to see if it's a harmless boney island, or if it be the start of bone cancer. The doctor is scheduling the test for next week. Mommy says her ankle can have as many islands as it wants, but we're asking for GLOW that there's no cancer.

Thanks for the GLOW everyone. Franci, Mommy thinks that her foot sprain was a blessing too. If it does turn out to be something we don't want, the sprain caused it to be found. Who knows how long it could have grown if Mommy hadn't needed those x-rays because of the sprain. It might have saved her life! See, looking out for kits, even when they belong to other people and aren't really even lost, is always a good thing!
