We no can get to da chat rooms cuz, wiffout us doin nuffing, it say Java no enabled on our browser. Eggsept when we go look in da control panel, it say Java IS enabled. So what now? Mommy tried to downlode it in case we haff a old one, but nuffing happened affer dat eiffur. What's up wiff dis? We not puter savvy enuff to solve dis.

Well, Mommy tried, but she stoopit! She try to go and take Firefox off so she cud put it back on and she no find a way to do dat. Den she tried Auntie Andi's link, but lotsa diffrint stuff camed up and she no knowec what to do. Nuffing happened when she clicked sum stuff. Mommy so NOT geeky!

Mommy Pou, go to da control panel to where it says add/remove programs...den find java on da list an remove it...den go to da Java site and download it again. If da old java is still on da puter it wont work..yu haff to remove it first

also you probably have internet explorer on da puter, java is still working with that...so you can use ie to get to da chat rooms

also could be your java temp files might be full too

Afpur you get da latest bersion ob Java, you mite wanna go to da Apple site and download Safari (yes it abailable fur Windoze puters also). We use Safari fur chats cause da chats load faster den on Firefox. Den you just hasta enable it in yor Safari preferences. Hope dis help, Cathy and Justin

Dis your son here Mom -- OK, whats you does -- iz you click on your little window symbol dat at da far left ob your dock on da bottom ob your screen. When dat window come it, it where you gots your control panel, documents, programs, etc. listed. But at da right ob dat window, underneath your own icon it say your name, then documents, then Pictures.... and so on.

If you clicks on your name a window will open up wiff a bunch ob folders showing. If you clicks on da Downloads folder you shood find your downloads there. If you clicks then on the top ob da Date modified column, it will sort those by the date so you wills be able to find your most recent downloads. Den all you goes to do is click on them and you in business.

If your mommy losted, haff her IM my mommy and mebbe she can help.

It gets cwabby wiffout its morning coffee.

That happened to us too, Pou. No matter what mom did she couldn't get it to work. So then she downloaded Google Chrome and viola, java worked there. It still don't work if we try goin' to chat with IE so it hafta be something screwy with that program. But we like Google Chrome a whole lot better anymeows.
