I have the Green and the brown mexican vine snakes, care as you would for an asian vine snakes. Oxybelis get sick easier then asians, so watch the temperature changes. Oxybelis fulgidus the green vine snake will eat mice and rats readily, while the much smaller Oxybelis aneus rarely eats anything but lizards.

I'm having a devil of a time locating any O. anaeus to purchase or otherwise obtain. Any tips?

Keep an eye on Glades Herp, they get them in rarely. I have seen them there only about once every two years!
