No..dis time Mommy hazzn't been sik. Her sisfur ink paw (my formur hoomin mommy) Mommy's 5 yeer old hoomin neese an da neese's uvver gramma (I gess dat'd make it my formur hoomin gramma) were here fur da intur genurashunul ebents. So da lil gurl took part in dem. Now I DON'T meen to sound like a nasty kit, but I like oldur hoomins better. Wen Mommy an my formur hoomin mommy brawt da lil gurl in to pet me (da lil gurl luffs kits) I...uh...hissed at her. *embarrissed look* Mommy gived me a talking to .Bailey played wiff da lil hoomin gurl tho wiff no problim an da lil gurl dint get upset. She's gettin a babykit fur her 6f birfday. Dey went home today.

We're not upset with you, Spencer, and we would never stop being your friends just because you hissed! Yes, Katie is very nice. She is also annoying sometimes when she tries to get between me and Mommy. That said, I still like her.
I was on my own for a while, though. I know that not all little humans are nice. I got lucky with Katie.

Yes, my Katie is an awesome little human. She takes very good care of me and I am crazy about her. Not all little humans are like that, though. Also, some kits just don't like little humans. Of the seven cats that Mommy had before us, only Boo really liked Katie. Patches tolerated her, barely, and Tinkerbell hated her passionately.
I just happen to be a kit that likes little humans and got a pretty lovable one of my own.

Spencer -- Iffn youse are not used to little kids or stwangers, it kan be upsetting. I am fwiendly wif most peeple, but once in a while Ise get stand offish and hide out unner da kitchen table and keep a reeeeeel close eye on dem. Little kids kan be skawey iffn dey don no how to handle us wifout pickin us up wrong or pettin us hard. Ise unnerstand youse reaktion.

we can unnerstand 100 purr cent. Hoomin spawns iz hard to deel wiff, especially since yuppie parents don't believe in disiplinning dere pro genny. Dey iz furry annoying. It too bad dat hoomins not understand dat dey should crate dere spawn ifn dey not old enuf to control dere behabiors.

Patches only tolerated Katie instead of liking her because she was very active and Patches didn't like the jumping around. Tinkerbell hated Katie because she saw Katie as an invader who was trying to steal her mommy. Tinkerbell hated anybody and anything that went anywhere near mommy. In fact, she used to beat me up if I even approached the couch when Mommy was on it!
Katie gets lots of discipline, MOL. In fact, her mommy is kind of like "The Enforcer." She used to just pick me up and put me where she wanted me when I was lying comfortably taking a nap, and stuff like that, but MommySharon put a stop to that. She waited until Katie was watching a tv show, then just walked over, picked her up, and put her in the kitchen. She looked at Katie and said, "Did you like that?" When Katie said she didn't, Mommy said, "Neither does Cuddles! He's not a stuffed animal that you can move around like a toy, he has feelings and you have to respect them." Now Katie is almost perfect, except that she can still be a bit bouncy and spins/twirls around a lot.
