SnowtaDad went to pick up Tillie a lil while ago from the vetdokter's, and she is home and doin okey. It turned out that it was a badly abscessed toofer that alla sudden went 'kaboom' and spewed yucky infection all in her face, poor kitty. The vetdokter removed the bad molar and sed the yukky stuff was just pourin out. Wow, we neber knewed a bad toofer could cause so many trubbles! She neber showed no sign of anyfing until yesterday when we saw the swelling.
Tilda's eye is still swollen up bigg eggcept fur a thin slit, but the vetdokter is hopeful that there was no damage to it and that it'll heal up. She gots auntibiotix and eye oinkment twice a day and will go back to see the vetdokter next week. Amazingly, her bloodwork is nearly normal ... and Tillie is at least 16 years old, prolly older, and lived all but the last few years as an outside barncat. She is so happy to be home again, and we're happy that she'll be okeydoke!
