Yesterday afternoon Grandma took Katie to the farmer's market on the bus. Grandma's back and chest started hurting so bad that she threw up on Public Square, but she didn't call Mommy then. She and Katie took a bus home, and Grandma got so weak and sick that she couldn't make it all the way home from the bus stop. That's when she called Mommy. Mommy left work and went to get them, and when she saw how sick and weak Grandma was, and how sometimes her whole body started jerking almost as if she was having a seizure, she took her to the ER. There, they found out that Grandma's blood pressure was only 94/58. At first they thought it might be a blood clot in her lung, but their tests couldn't find any blood clots. Now one doctor is saying he thinks it's pneumonia, but his supervisor isn't convinced and neither is Mommy. Mommy says pneumonia wouldn't do that to her blood pressure.
So anyway, the doctors at the hospital have decided to keep Grandma a couple of days to see what's going on. Mommy is furry worried. We would really appreciate some GLOWS and PRAYERS for the doctors to find out what's causing this bad stuff and for Grandma to get well and come home.
We were planning to be at chat tonight, but we don't know if Mommy will be home in time. We will try though.
